We're a small team of photographers and filmmakers from Rourkela, Odisha. Each of us brings a different craft, and every wedding we cover gets all of it.
Kausik founded Soft Image with one idea: wedding pictures should feel the way the day felt. As director of photography he shapes the look of every wedding we cover, from where the light falls to how each scene is framed. He then grades every gallery and film himself, which is why the colour stays warm, true to life and consistent from the haldi to the reception.
Krishna leads our photography on the wedding day. He has a calm presence that puts families at ease and an eye for the small moments in between: a glance, a laugh, a hand held a second longer. His portraits are gently directed and never stiff, so couples look like themselves, only at their best.
Joseph sees every wedding in motion. Behind the camera he chases light and movement to capture the energy of the day, and in the edit he shapes that footage into a film with rhythm, music and feeling. He loves night scenes, candle glow and the quiet moments most people miss.
Ashutosh brings a storyteller's patience to both the shoot and the edit. On the day he watches for the moments that will carry the story. In the edit suite he builds them into films that feel personal to each couple, with clean cuts, honest sound and emotion that builds to the right moment.
